Kang Jae-Won (born November 30, 1965 in South Korea) is a former Korean handball player, and current coach for the South Korea national women's handball team.[1] He was voted World Player of the Year 1989 by the International Handball Federation.[2]

Kang Jae-Won achieved a silver medal with the South Korean national team at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul.[3]
